We are not a lender
It helps to be plain about our role. USA Fin Planning does not extend credit, does not work as a broker, and does not offer financial advice. We write no loans, hold no deposits, and pass judgment on no one's credit. We operate as a marketing affiliate: our job is to connect homeowners with a network of lenders who may present mortgage refinance, home equity, and debt-consolidation refinance products. Any offer you see comes from a lender within that network and carries that lender's own terms.
How USA Fin Planning works
Everything begins with a single short online form, where homeowners provide the sort of detail lenders in the network typically draw on to shape an offer. USA Fin Planning then routes that detail toward lenders whose products may fit the situation, so that several offers can be set alongside one another for comparison. Submitting the form is not a loan request. Every lender in the network makes its own credit decision by its own measures, and may request more detail before naming any offer or terms.
Our editorial approach
We promise nothing about specific savings or specific rates, and we cannot say that any one person will be matched with, or accepted by, any one lender. None of what you read here counts as financial, legal, or tax guidance, and none of it is meant to push anyone toward refinancing or toward choosing one product over another. Before settling on anything, homeowners may wish to read a lender's terms closely and could benefit from discussing the matter with a qualified professional.
Compliance and licensing
USA Fin Planning observes the compliance standards held in common across its lender network, among them the marketing rules that shape how refinance and home equity products may be advertised. On the subject of licensing: the loan products reachable through the network are private offerings, and USA Fin Planning has no connection to any government agency.
